The Life Stress program is designed to help you evaluate how stress may be affecting you and to provide you with information and specific exercises to help your body learn to relax again. Even positive events like returning from deployment can cause stress. If you'd like to evaluate your stress level, click ''Jump Into An Assessment''. Check out the videos of others who are dealing with stress and explore the e-library for in-depth information.

Long-term sustained stress is dangerous. It can disrupt brain chemistry and interfere with healthy brain and body functioning. It can make you irritable, depressed and anxious, and it can disrupt your work and relationships. Sustained stress can actually threaten your life by contributing to heart disease and weakening your immune system.

The Life Stress Assessment, and each of the related assessments below, takes about five minutes to complete; recommendations follow based on your results.
